Scoutbook Plus is a digital tool designed to help parents and volunteers manage and track their Cub Scouts’ advancement progress.
Scoutbook Plus can also be used by volunteers to send emails and text messages. Those messages are only sent to adults that are connected to our youth members.
New Cub Scouts will appear in Scoutbook Plus approximately 24 hours after their national membership has started. Scoutbook Plus uses the same credentials as my.scouting.org.
The adult that completed the youth's application will automatically be connected to their Cub Scout. That connected adult may create additional connections on Scoutbook Plus.
First, have the new adult create an account on my.scouting.org. Then the connected adult follows these steps:
Navigate to Scoutbook Plus at: https://advancements.scouting.org/
Select "Profile" on the Navigation Bar on the left
Select child from the "Parents / Guardians For" list
Under "Relationships" on the left, select the Plus icon, opening the "Parent/Guardian Invitation" pop-up box
Select the middle tab "Search Scouting ID", Enter: First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, and Zip Code (of new adult)
Select the matching record from the below drop down
Select relationship
Click Save
Contact our council's member care team if you need assistance.
