Join our Spond group

Instructions for joining our Spond group are found on the New Cub Scout Checklist.

Enabling notifications is encouraged. You can customize your notification settings.

Calendar sync

All the events that you've been "invited" to in Spond will show up on your homepage. You can sync these events with your phone's calendar. This homepage list is everything that is applicable to you and your Scout(s), and nothing else!

Note that an invitation has to triggered behind the scenes to appear on this list. For some future events, especially ones that will require an RSVP, the invitation will not be sent at the start of the program year. For new adults, your list will populate after an admin approves your request.

Files and links

We have many useful files and links in our Spond group (Groups > Pack 396 > Files).

Events

• You are welcome to comment on events and post photos

• For most events, you are automatically marked as attending; some events will require an RSVP

• Please decline events if you won't be attending; it helps our records and stops you from getting unnecessary notifications

  • Go to the event in Spond and click the Decline button
